The brief
SPL Group, based in Germany, supplies new and refurbished ATM parts, repairs banking equipment, trains technicians and sells software and security solutions to financial institutions. A wide, technical offer had to read clearly to buyers at banks and cash-in-transit companies.
What I did
I was the primary designer and developer at TeamQ, on WordPress with BeTheme, WPBakery and WPML. The homepage breaks the offer into rows you can scan: five services with green line icons, a product slider, the ink staining system, and seven solution areas, each with one plain link.
Visual concept
Eurostile, a squared, technical face, sets the headings and reads like the labels on a machine, which suits a company that refurbishes ATMs. Poppins keeps the text round and friendly, so a dense technical offer stays approachable for buyers who are not engineers.
Navy (#163a69) and signal green (#4a9c42) come straight from the logo: navy for headings and the footer, green for links and the line icons. The icons share one green line weight, so services, solutions and contact read as one system. White and a pale grey (#f5f5f5) keep the rows open.
