The brief
Phisique is a wellness club chain in Ecuador. When the pandemic shut the country down it needed a way to keep members training: live classes, a library of recorded sessions and paid plans, closer to an app than a website.
What I did
I led the WordPress development at Design Republik and built the platform from scratch: memberships, live classes, on-demand sessions and a sign-in that takes members straight to their workouts. I also led the redesign of its public pages.
Visual concept
Oswald sets the condensed headings and class names, a gothic sans with the punch of gym signage and timetables. Montserrat takes the text and buttons, geometric and friendly, so prices, plans and instructions read clearly on a phone.
Red (#c41230) is Phisique's colour and is kept for the brand and the actions, charcoal (#222529) and steel (#565656) carry the dark benefit band and the footer, and pale grey (#f5f7f9) and white leave room for the device photography that explains where the classes go.
