What is Semrush?
Semrush is a commercial platform for search and competitive research. It estimates keyword volume and difficulty, tracks rankings, maps backlinks, audits sites for technical problems and shows what competitors rank and advertise for.
Its AI visibility tools add a newer question: how often a brand is mentioned when AI models answer questions in its category.
How I use Semrush
Semrush is my research tool for competitive SEO and AEO: keyword gap audits against competitors, its AI visibility toolkit, and the research behind buyer-intent content hubs.
