What is Playwright?
Playwright drives real browsers from code. Tests click, type and navigate the way a person would, wait for pages to be ready on their own, and run across Chromium, Firefox and WebKit from one script.
Beyond testing, it is a dependable way to automate anything a browser does: screenshots, audits, form flows and checks after every deploy.
How I use Playwright
I test plugins end to end with Playwright, so the flows editors depend on are checked in a real browser before anything ships.
I use it for audits and captures as well. At TeamQ our QA ran on Selenium and LambdaTest; Playwright is what I reach for now.
