A membership, from sign-up to the front desk. A diagram, not a screenshot: the plugin was written for agency clients and runs on their sites.
The problem
Gyms wanted to sell and renew memberships online. WooCommerce sells products; a gym sells time, with renewals, lapses and access that depends on whether a membership is current.
What I built
I built the plugin on WooCommerce. It models plans and billing cycles, handles renewals and lapses, and gates content and check-in by membership status.
Billing and access live in one place, so the front desk and the website always agree on who is a member.
Under the hood
- Plans. The gym sets up its plans and their billing cycles.
- Sign up. Members buy a plan through WooCommerce.
- Renew. Renewals are billed on the cycle.
- Status. Every membership is either current or lapsed.
- Access. Content and check-in are gated by that status.
Guardrails
- Access follows membership status.
- Lapses are handled, not just renewals.
