What is PWA?
A progressive web app is a website that behaves like an installed app. A web app manifest gives it an icon and a name on the home screen, and a service worker caches what it needs so it opens fast and keeps working on a poor connection.
For communities and member sites it is a way to get an app-like experience without building and maintaining separate store apps.
How I use PWA
At TeamQ I turned BuddyPress and BuddyBoss communities into progressive web apps and mobile apps, and added PWA and AMP integrations to client sites.
