What is Polylang?

Polylang makes WordPress multilingual by storing each translation as its own post and linking them, with a language switcher, language URLs and hreflang. Its core is free; Polylang Pro adds more.

Because translations are ordinary posts, it works well with custom code that needs to read or write them.

How I use Polylang

I have built translation on top of Polylang: when a source page changes, its translations are redone in the background and wait in a review gate before they publish.
