What is Bootstrap?

Bootstrap is a CSS and JavaScript framework with a responsive grid, ready-made components such as navigation bars, modals and forms, and utility classes for spacing and layout. Twitter released it in 2011; it is now in its fifth major version.

It is quick to start with and easy for a team to share. The cost is weight and sameness unless the theme overrides its defaults.

How I use Bootstrap

Bootstrap was part of the Jonas stack for the club websites, next to Kentico, jQuery, GSAP and ScrollMagic. At TeamQ one client site ran on Bootscore, a Bootstrap 5 starter theme for WordPress.
