What is Adobe XD?
Adobe XD was Adobe's answer to interface design tools like Sketch and Figma: artboards, repeat grids, components and clickable prototypes, connected to Photoshop and Illustrator through Creative Cloud.
Adobe put XD into maintenance mode in 2023, so teams have largely moved on, but plenty of sites were designed in it and still get built from its files.
How I use Adobe XD
XD was part of my Design Republik toolkit, with Illustrator and Photoshop, for the sites I designed there, like UWI Cosmetics and Restaurante Pim's.
At TeamQ my team rebuilt an airline's website from its Adobe XD designs under time pressure, translation-ready from the start and clean of malware.
